Battle Arena Toshinden 3 is a 3D fighting game for the Sony PlayStation 1. Released in 1996, it's the third installment in the Battle Arena Toshinden series. Players choose from a roster of characters, each with unique weapons and moves, to battle in arena-style combat. The game introduces a total of 14 new characters and features improved graphics and smoother animations than its predecessors. It adds new gameplay mechanics, such as the ability to sidestep into the foreground and background. Gamers can duel against the AI or compete with friends in two-player mode.
