Broken Sword: Shadow of the Templars, also known as Circle of Blood in the United States, is a point-and-click adventure video game developed by Revolution Software. Originally released for PC in 1996, it was later ported to various other platforms, including the Nintendo Wii in 2009. The game follows George Stobbart, an American tourist in Paris, as he becomes embroiled in a conspiracy related to the Knights Templar. The Wii version, titled 'The Director's Cut', includes additional content and updated graphics, offering a deep narrative with challenging puzzles, set within a richly-detailed world inspired by history and myth.
