Shattered Union is a turn-based tactical strategy game for the Microsoft Xbox, set in a fragmented United States following the detonation of a nuclear bomb in Washington D.C. and subsequent civil war. The game, released in 2005, allows players to command one of seven factions vying for control of the devastated nation. Through both single-player campaigns and multiplayer modes, gamers must maneuver units across hex-based maps, engage in combat, and strategically secure territories. The title blends elements of military tactics and alternate-history storytelling within its strategy-based gameplay.
