WWF WrestleMania is a sports-based wrestling video game for the Nintendo NES system, released in 1988. Falling under the genre of fighting games, it carries the trademark wrestling style from professional wrestling's foremost title, World Wrestling Federation. The game features six popular WWF characters including Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, and 'Macho Man' Randy Savage, each with their own unique moves. In the game, players can participate in one-on-one matches, compete in tournament mode or fight a series of opponents in a championship belt match. The underlying goal remains to bring your opponent's health to zero to pin them for a win.
