Originally released in 1996, 'Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars' is a point-and-click adventure game developed by Revolution Software. Set in both Europe and the Middle East, it follows the story of George Stobbart, an American tourist in Paris, who becomes embroiled in a conspiracy when a mysterious figure steals an ancient manuscript and assassinates a man. Players solve puzzles and interact with a myriad of characters to unravel the secrets of the Knights Templar. The Game Boy Advance version, adapted later, brought the acclaimed title to handheld audiences with tailored controls.
