Call of Duty: Ghosts is a first-person shooter video game developed by Infinity Ward and published by Activision in 2013. Set in a near future following an orbital bombardment which devastates numerous cities on the eastern seaboard of the United States, the story follows the Ghosts, a group of elite soldiers trained for clandestine missions behind enemy lines, as they attempt to reclaim a fallen America from an federation of South American countries. The title delivers a riveting all-new gameplay experience built on an entirely new story, setting and cast of characters, all powered by a new, next-generation Call of Duty engine.
