Choplifter! - Master System

Choplifter! is an action side-scrolling rescue game developed for the Sega Master System. Originally launched on Apple II in 1982 and then ported to various other platforms, in this title, players pilot a combat helicopter across enemy lines to save hostages. The objective is to navigate the chopper through treacherous landscapes, avoid or combat enemy tanks and jets, and carefully land to pick up prisoners. Once aboard, players must safely return them to the home base. Choplifter! emphasizes both flight control and strategic planning, as players balance rescues with defending against persistent enemy threats.
