Fire Emblem, released for the Game Boy Advance in 2003, is a fantasy tactical role-playing game. It is known as 'Fire Emblem: Rekka no Ken' in Japan and is the seventh installment in the Fire Emblem series. It's the first title in the series to be released outside of Japan. The game introduces players to a medieval fantasy world where they command a group of heroes across grid-based battlefields, using turn-based strategy to defeat their foes and progress the narrative. The game features permadeath, where characters lost in battle are gone for the remainder of the game, adding a high stakes element to each encounter.
