The Horde for Sega Saturn is an action-strategy game where players defend their village from hordes of marauding monsters known as 'The Horde'. As the protagonist Chauncey, a knight serving King Winthrop, you must strategically build and fortify your village using farms, walls, and other structures while directly controlling Chauncey in real-time combat to fend off waves of enemies. Rounds alternate between action-packed defense sessions and quieter building phases, requiring a blend of tactical planning and combat prowess to ensure the survival of your people.
