Pokemon Sword for the Nintendo Switch is an RPG adventure where players explore the expansive Galar region, inspired by the UK, in pursuit of becoming the Pokemon Champion. It is the first main-series game in the eighth generation of the Pokemon franchise. Players catch, train, and battle with a new generation of Pokemon, participate in large-scale Raid Battles, and face off against the villainous Team Yell. With Dynamax and Gigantamax forms, Pokemon battles are taken to new heights. The game presents a mix of exploration, strategy, and combat with a cast of endearing characters.
