Rival Turf! is a side-scrolling beat 'em up video game for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES) released in 1992. Players embark on a mission to clean up the crime-ridden streets by taking control of one of two characters: police officer Rick Norton or his friend, Douglas Bild. The game allows for single-player or cooperative two-player action as players fight through diverse urban environments using punches, kicks, and special moves to defeat various thugs and bosses. It's known for its simplistic combat and was the first in the 'Rushing Beat' trilogy.
