Xenophobe - Atari 2600

Xenophobe is a side-scrolling arcade game developed and released by Bally Midway in 1987, later ported to the Atari 2600. Players take on the role of space-faring heroes fighting to stop an alien infestation aboard various space stations and ships. The goal is to neutralize the alien threat and secure the facilities. The game is known for its unique split-screen feature that allows multiple players to engage in simultaneous play, each with their own section of the screen. The Atari 2600 version adapted these features to the console's capabilities.
