Zaxxon - Atari 2600

Zaxxon is an isometric shooter arcade game developed and released by Sega in 1982. It later made its way to various home platforms, including the Atari 2600. The game was notable for its unique isometric perspective and was one of the first games to employ an axonometric perspective, giving the impression of three dimensions. In Zaxxon, players pilot an armed spacecraft through heavily defended space fortresses. The Atari 2600 version was adapted to the console's capabilities and offered a simplified take on the arcade's gameplay.
