Zillion 2: The Tri Formation is an action-adventure game released for the Master System in 1987. A sequel to the original Zillion, this game shifts away from its predecessor's exploration style to more of a side-scrolling shooter format. The player takes on the role of JJ, fighting against the Norsa Empire. Zillion 2 also integrates vehicle segments, where the player pilots a motorcycle, adding variety to the gameplay.
